Amarillo Downtown Library
The Amarillo Public Library System consists of a Central (Downtown) Library and four branches, serving well over two-thousand people every day. The library collection includes more than 800,000 books, magazines, and media materials which circulate over two million times per year.
Vessel of Humanity and Compassion
The Vessel of Humanity and Compassion, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Amarillo, Texas, has launched an innovative after-school program called Unity Learning Communities. This tutoring and mentoring initiative, which began in late 2024, focuses on supporting fifth and sixth-grade students during critical educational transitions
